Bamboo and Ficus Garden
The Bamboo and Ficus Garden established in 1994, has an area of one hectare and 34 planted species. The bamboo has traditionally been used by the local communities for food (young shoots), mat and basket weaving, construction of huts and many other daily uses.
The interesting Ficus species exhibit a variety of growing habits, from creepers, epiphytes, shrubs to stranglers and trees.
