Nature Trails & Plankwalk

Plankwalk To get to the Centre from the Forest Department Nursery, visitors are encouraged to use the plankwalk or the nature trails.

Along the plankwalk some of the commercial and common trees are tagged for easy identification.

For example, Dipterocarps such as Meranti and Engkabang are highlighted. Even wild fruit trees such as cempedak and durians are indicated. A leisure stroll on the plankwalk takes about 30 minutes.

There are 5 nature trails namely; Jalan Bawah, Jalan Menara, Jalan Selatan, Jalan Tengah and Jalan Utara. These trails are fairly short, the longest taking about 30 minutes (Jalan Selatan). All along the trails, visitors can observe rotans, meranti, engkabang and fruit trees such as cempedak and durian.
