Mixed Planting Garden

The Mixed Planting Garden which covers an area of 10 hectares, was the first to be established in 1976. It has a good collection of palms, gingers, herbaceous plants, and other plants which are endemic, rare and protected. A total of 453 species have been planted, which include interesting plants like Licuala orbicularis, Johannesteysmannia altifrons, Areca ahmadii, Antiaris toxicaria, Dipterocarpus oblongifolius and Didesmandria aspera.
